Hello Mr. Kerr,
I am writing to you for two reasons. Firstly, thankyou for attending the recent political forum at Hobart College. It was good to hear your views, and I thank you for answering my question on refugees clearly. I'm glad you are against the inhumane and shameful conditions in perpetuated in our detention centres.
Secondly, I would like to obtain clarification from you on your position on the pulp mill. I understand Federal Labor to be in support of the mill. In this matter I would implore you to look at the issue closely - have you read Richard Flanagan's article on the matter? I hope that you will see fit to go against Labor's position, but either way I would appreciate your personal thoughts on the mill, as this issue will be very important in determining my vote on the upcoming Federal election.
