Dear Senator Wong and Mr Peter Garrett.
I am writing to request government intervention to put a halt to any further development and approval of the Gunns pulp mill, Tamar Valley, Tasmania.
I find it quite absurd that in todays current environmental crisis, that such a damaging pulp mill be permitted in such a stunningly beautiful, and environmentally important area.
How much clearer does the threat of climate change, and the threat to our environment (a threat to our very existence on this planet) have to be?
There is an alternative to traditional pulp mills, a method that would not only save our forests flora and flora, But also put agricultural waste to good use.

If our European counterparts can implement a commercial scale Agripulp pulp mill, surely we can follow suite, and support this kind of technology.
I urge you Please, stop the insanity, Its time for us all to wake up and take action.
