How about the state government consider building a
pipeline from the Trevallyn Dam to a refurbished Duck
Reach power station. This increases the water flow
through The Gorge, generates power and, most
importantly, actually addresses the siltation issues
in the Tamar River. I am sure the West Tamar Council
would be amenable to this use of their land. The pulp
mill, like our premier, is a failing cause. Don't let
our river go the same way. Save the Tamar.
